About

Brittanya Beddington started out as a massage therapist for horses in 2006 and quickly realized that the issues she was seeing with her equine clients were the same as their owners were suffering from.

She decided to pursue human massage and movement as a way to offer healing to everyone involved and soon realized she had a passion for anatomy and the function of the human body. She practices deep tissue and relaxation massage in combination with myofascial release, tailoring each session to your body on that day. Brittanya is best known for her neck, shoulder, and forearm treatments, and can enhance your session with myofascial cupping and aromatherapy.

Brittanya recently expanded her practice to include Somatic Stress Release to help humans move through their lives with more ease and lightness, and can add this to your session upon request. Outside of her practice and continuing education you’ll usually find Brittanya enjoying the outdoors with her family and animals. Since graduating with honours from the Alberta College of Massage Therapy in 2011 she has been an active member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada.

Please note that Brittanya is NOT registered with the BC College of Massage Therapists. A few extended benefits plans do cover her treatments, but not all. Please check with her before your appointment if you wish to use benefits to ensure coverage.
